To stand out from all the candidates I've prepared and sent one day before the interview, an UX Case Study to show them how a new innovative functionality can blend between the existing ones, something that Revolut does not have.
The recruiter told me he did not open the email and read something about it.
During the interview he was late 4 minutes from the 30 allocated, and just me opened the camera.
From the remaining 26 minutes allocated, he spoke (probably read) for 10 minutes about Revolut and repeated the same things I was presented a day before during a webinar held by a PO from Revolut. I was respectful and did not stop.
I told him about the UX study I've prepared and he asked to share the screen and present to him. The time was very short and I've managed to present just a small part of the study. I was hoping to keep it short and also have time to speak about myself and my experience, and why am I good for the job.
The interview ended 2-3 minutes before, the recruiter seemed to want to end it faster, did not put one question about my experience, what I'm currently doing etc. He said he will look at my profile from LinkedIn and let me know.
I kindly asked him to ask for a certified opinion on what I've prepared and shared in advance, maybe a PO can do the evaluation and judge it. The next day I received the mail for not being selected and not a clear reason why.
And btw I come with a +5y experience as a PO for the Mobile Banking app, for a top 5 Bank in my country. +14 years experience overall in banking.
