I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Revolut
Interview
Overall very amateur process including both recruiter and hiring team. I applied to the role on careers page and received an analytical test. After passing that recruiter sent me a home assignment and suggesting me another role that could be a better fit to my profile which I accepted to pursue. After passing the assignment I had 3 round of interviews, the last one being with the hiring manager. During the interview, hiring manager mentioned that I might be a better fit to another role and I said I am open to it but turned out the new role is more junior than the one I was pursuing. When I told recruiter about this it turned out recruiter wasn't aware of the role that she recommended to me in the first place! Moreover the hiring manager is much junior than me and the offer they made is almost half of my current salary. All these are happening despite the fact that they knew my experience from the top tech companies and my salary expectations since the beginning! I spent almost 3 months in this process for a role which I was doing 5 years ago! Unless you are desperate for a job or find a very rare team who can understand your experience and appreciate it don't even bother applying.

Question 1
Tell me about the most technical problem you solved / complex project you worked on.
Thank you for your honest review; we appreciate your taking the time to give us your feedback. I just want to stress that your experience is not representative of the values that we instill in our recruiters, or the experience that we aim to offer to all our candidates. We aim to ensure that we are matching our candidates with roles that are the right fit for them, their profile, and the hiring team. We will pass your feedback on to the hiring team so they can review their hiring practices.
