I applied online. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Sep 2025
Interview
Applied online for Houston, TX location.
Started with a timed IQ/Personality online test. Wasn't difficult, but I only completed ~40/50 questions in time. Once completed, got an email for a virtual interview 8 days later.
First interview was easy, talk about the programming languages I know, projects on my resume, work experience, etc. Simple questions like "Where do you see your career in 5 years". Was with an HR person so nothing technical. About 30 minute interview.
6 days later, got emailed about second technical interview. Second interview was 1/3 coding, 1/3 programming question, 1/3 open ended questions. Coding was simple, FizzBuzz and then debugging a program to do with memory allocation and pointer. I did it in C but had the option of C or Python. Programming questions about data structures, like "What is a linked list" with the website to draw/demonstrate. Then open ended questions like "How much experience to you have with TCP/IP".
Got emailed back 8 days later "You have not been selected for the next steps in our process."

I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (North Andover, MA)
Interview
I took the online personality/aptitude test and received an invitation to a phone interview. The recruiter was nice and explained the next steps to me, telling me that the next step was for the director to review me. Later, I received an email telling me I was not chosen to continue in the process.

Interview
Interviewer was a few mins late and seemed very disinterested. Very few technical questions were asked to assess coding ability.
