No interview was required，the admission committee only reviewed the application materials. After they decided to give me the offer, one professor sent me an unofficial congratulation letter and we had a nice chat

Question 1
No interview questions were asked. I introduced briefly my past research experience. And the admission committee asked me if I have question about the school.

Interview
Smooth process and I was very impressed. We had great conversations. It was clear that Rice has a great history and pedigree. The culture from top leadership portrays a citadel where the education received is worth more than the cost. Overall, I enjoy the interview and was proud of my choice.
Skype screening and then onsite interview with other candidates and professors within the program. Professors will give presentations during onsite interview. Before that some professor will request skype interview to include presentation of previous research experience.
