It was great! Friendly staff and management. I first met with one of the cottage managers to have a discussion face to face. Asked about interests, availability, and experience. It's an onsite interview. Later you have to have a background check and drug test. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Initial call then interview within two weeks. It was a slow process before getting the initial call. It took a month to finally push for the initial call of interest. Be aggressive about your passion and show you want it if you're interested.

The hiring process and training took about 2 weeks to a month and was not just on the unit you are hired for, but also all the units. It was really easy to interview with the hiring manager for the women's unit and she seemed impressed with my previous experience working with people and children.
