Phone interview was pretty straightforward. Hiring manager was very nice and asked about my K12 experience. She explained that the position would require a couple of weeks in office training but would be remote after that.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience teaching in the classroom and how that helped you with curriculum development.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Risepoint (London, England) in Jan 2015
Interview
Was contacted by email and had an initial interview by Skype. A follow up interview took place in person. I was a bit baffled by the interview as there was little to nothing to do with what with job would require. I was initially told that the job would be full-time, then it was changed to part-time, then contract. The interviewer told me that she would show me materials at the interview then never did. I asked if there was a way I could learn more about the company and was told no.
Was told that I would be contacted about the outcome. The company never responded to emails or telephone calls. A company that doesn't tell candidates about the outcome of their interview and doesn't answer phone calls or emails cannot be considered well-managed or organised.
Their loss - I have a terrific contracting job that pays well and that I enjoy immensely. I had a telephone interview in the evening and an offer the next morning. Started work a few days later. That's the way to do it, Academic Partnerships.
