Was given a brief phone call with their current technical person, who also appears to be doing some HR recruiting. We did not cover much technical information but chatted in a friendly manner about industry and trends for a solid 45 minutes.
After coming in for an in person interview, we never talked much about my technical skills before another employee told us our time was up and we were forced to leave the meeting room.
I was asked to come back to meet the founders the next day. I arrived on time for my interview, sat for 5 minutes, and was told the founders were busy and my interview had been cancelled. "I'm so sorry, this is very embarrassing. They are running late. Let's re-scheduled" is all I was told by their recruiter.
Since then I have heard nothing. I sent an email, and received a terse "We are going in another direction, thanks for your time" brush off.
I have never seen such unprofessional handling of a candidate. If my time is this worthless to them before I even have a job, I would consider myself lucky to have never worked there. The other review that warn's the leadership here is horrible people, is probably right.
