I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Riveron (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I was contacted by an outside recruiter who wanted to present my profile for a director level position. The interview process and the offer were bizarre to say the least. I have gone through 7 rounds. Some were phone interviews and some on-site. Some with one person and some with multiple people. Most people I interviewed with were telling me how great the company was but no one seemed to want to address the attrition rate. Everyone seemed to be focused on this weird pay structure that Riveron has. But in a simple research on LinkedIn it seemed like a large amount of new employees were leaving within a year of joining the firm. Further (only based on my research on LinkedIn) it seemed that most people that were joining Riveron were folks that for one reason or another could not make it in other consulting powerhouses. Bottom line, after 7 rounds of interviews no one was able to pull the trigger and make any hiring decisions. The solution to their inability to make any decisions was to pass the buck over to the candidate and have me give notice with my current employer and start with Riveron on trial basis. The firm needs to learn how to make tough hiring decisions and stop wasting prospects time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Riveron (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2024
Interview
Several Zoom interviews. Process took 4-5 weeks, and it was well coordinated and communication between interviewers and talent acquisition was somewhat timely. Need to be proactive and follow up to make sure promised timelines were met.

Initial interview with in-house Recruiter. Skills assessment was then provided while Recruiter scheduled additional phone interviews. Assessment was not difficult. Recruiter wasted four weeks kicking the can down the road promising additional phone interviews. Position was "put on hold" and Recruiter encouraged me to wait four months for additional opportunities to materialize. The entire process was a fishing exercise meant to justify Recruiter's employment when the firm was not hiring.
