I went through the usual process with an initial recruiter screen, then a manager screen, which went well. Then I had a technical screen with a typical frontend leetcode-ish assessment. The process up to that point was about two weeks and communication was timely, but after the assessment , I didn’t hear back for a week so I followed up with an email. After three days, I still haven’t gotten any response. It’s safe to assume didn’t move on, but it feels unprofessional to not follow up with candidates and confirm whether or not they are moving on to the next stage.
