I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Robert Bosch in Apr 2014

Interview

Since I was living in India, I had a telephonic interview with my advisor and his PhD student. Lasted for about an hour. I had to prepare and send them my CV in a short presentation format. For the first 30-40 mins they asked me explain my involvement in all the projects which was followed by counter-intuitive questions. Later half they described a few of their projects and asked me about my insights into those topics.

Kurze Vorstellung der Person. Zwei Leute im Call, der Chef des Teams und eine Person die im Team arbeitet, sehr entspannte atmosphäre. Über Studium und Hintergrund geredet. , Gespräch ging so ca. 20 Minuten und dann habe ich nach ein paar Tagen die Rückmeldung bekommen.

Die Gesprächsatmosphäre war sehr entspannt. Man stellt sich vor und danach wird den Arbeitsumfang der Stelle klar gestellt. Nur wenige fachtliche Kenntnisse wurde gefragt. Am Ende wurde nach genaue Datum gefragt, wann man mit der Arbeit anfangen kann.
