I applied online. I interviewed at Robert Half (Saint Louis, MO) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview was via telephone and rushed. I offered to come in and interview in person but they insisted it needed to done by phone. They appeared unprepared when discussing my resume. Like most recruiters they are virtually impossible to get a hold of. They may tell you about a position and ask that you apply and then never hear from them again. Yes it's unprofessional and in any other type of employment failing to call your clients or e-mail them back after repeated attempts would get you removed from that position but not in the recruiting game.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked general questions, also asked whether you would prefer contract work vs direct hire, how far would you be willing to travel for an assignment, etc.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robert Half (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
Impersonal - I felt like the recruiter was more eager to meet a quota than listen to my concerns. Otherwise the interview was simple and to the point. I would recommend communicating without an agenda as well as being more receptive to accommodations.
The interview was online over a Zoom call. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. The interview felt pretty quick and easy. I was qualified for the position and offered a job a week later but declined due to the pay being low.
