I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Robert Half (New York, NY)
Interview
They were interviewing me for a position for their end client in NYC for .NET C# Senior position involving SOA; they did a 15 minutes Skype video calls. In this time it seems they try to guadge your skills and how sound you are. No stereotype technical bookish questions.

Question 1
What is the reason you were chosen in your most recent project as a Senior Software Developer. I worked in this NYLife project for 4 and half years.
I had a disappointing experience with a Robert Half recruiter regarding a $23/hr contract software development role that required relocation to an expensive city. During our conversation, he criticized remote workers as “lazy” and claimed hybrid essentially meant one day remote. The tone felt unprofessional and dismissive of candidate priorities. Recruiter conversations should focus on alignment, not personal opinions about work models.
