I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half (Fairfield, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
I feel the interview was a special case situation because I originally contacted the company to assist me with finding assignments to work. When talking to the Branch Manager, he noticed my entrepreneurial spirit (and experience) something they look for in this role since its part business development. We had a 15-20 minute conversation and I expressed interest in the Staffing Manager role after he inquired if I was interested. We scheduled a one-one via email and I met with the Branch Manager, then his assistant (over a 2.5 hour interview - I ask a lot of questions, they liked that). They also had me do a role-play for sales as part of my interview but I feel it wasn't part of a standard process. Like I mentioned I had some sales experience, so he was interested in my sales skills. I was then invited to shadow a day in the life for a few hours. Then I was invited to a one:one with his manager in Sacramento and also met with the Sacramento Branch Manager. A few days later I was offered the job via a phone call and started the next Monday. Note: They were understaffed and overworked so there may have been some bias in hiring me this quickly. They make sure to reitterate about being comfortable making cold calls (as part of marketing for business development)
the process consisted of three rounds of interviews. initially met with the recruiter, then team manager, followed by an interview with the district manager before getting an offer. all of the were virtual, but this was also during covid

how my previous experience aligned with the role i was applying to
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half (San Jose, CA)
Interview
There was a phone screening with the Office Manager and Director. Once I passed the screening, I had to complete an in person interview with the Office Manager and the Director. Afterwards, I met the team and received an offer the same day.
Multiple in person interviews, met up for dinner with the entire team as the last portion. Very conversational, compared to hard hitting questions. Friendly team and easy to get along with.
