I applied through LinkedIn in April. Saw my application was reviewed, and I received a call a day later from the hiring manager. We discussed my qualifications, the position at large, salary expectations, etc. Basic stuff.
I got to the interview and we only went roughly 20 minutes, the hiring manager had to be on a call with his account executive. He asked some good questions, but seemed rushed. I then shadowed two potential team members. Great people, seemed to like what they do.
The hiring manager never discussed next steps. I emailed a thank you email a day later, and he has yet to respond. Horrible communication, as the manager can't even tell me whether I will be moving on in the process or not. Shame, because I felt we had a good connection and I had a good connection with the other recruiters.
Robert Half's corporate recruiters seem to be terrible as a whole. I was contacted about another position in March, spoke briefly to a recruiter. After she said she'd discuss our convo with the district president, she went dark as well. If this is indicative of the type of company RH is, then it is best that I didn't move on in either process.
