I had 2 phone interviews. The first one was about coding question, the second was about my previous background/projects. Each one was set up for 1 hour, but everything went well and we finished discussion within 40 min. The recruiting coordinators are very professional and eager to help. The first round went very well and I learned a lot about their Data Infrastructure team, which interests me and match my background very well. Then I got second round confirmation the next day. The second round went very well as the first round did. We had a very good discussion about my projects and my job. The interviewer asked me many questions about the technical tools/platforms that I listed on my resume. I had prepared a lot on such things and I believe I gave the correct answers. The interviewer also sounds like "yes, you nailed it". We also talked about their onsite interview process and how to prepare them. The interviewer also sounds positive about my performance. However, I didn't get the invitation to the onsite interview and I felt the second interviewer may just fail me on purpose. I tried to reach out to the coordinator for more details and of course, they wouldn't provide you with such things considering their policy. If I failed on any technical or behavior questions that could raise a red flag, sure, I will definitely accept it and go back to get better prepared. But I just felt the interviewer failed me because of the racial prejudice. If that's the case, I would say this is so unprofessional.
