I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Robinhood (Menlo Park, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The recruiter reached out with this opportunity and I was so glad he did. Started off with a phone interview. Not that difficult. (LC mediums). After a week, got a call from recruiter about second phone screen (2 hours). Second phone screen went well and I was invited onsite. Robinhood has some really smart engineers. It was really nice to converse with them. Interviews were a bit tougher compared to FAANG interviews.
Started wth a Recruiter call for experience and expectations check , then two rounds of system design ( one general And ones related to the fin tech industry), one general coding interview, project deep dive, team matching interviews with hiring managers. Overall it was mostly aligned with industry standards
Phone interview, followed by Onsite invitation but the position got filled before i could get it scheduled! I had positive feeling from the interviewer but sadly couldn't reach the end

Interview
The recruiter screen was smooth and professional. I moved through the initial step quickly, but shortly afterward I was informed that the position had already been filled. While disappointing, the turnaround time was fast and the communication was clear, which I appreciated.
