1. CodeSignal test with 4 questions. I passed all tests on 3 of them and got 13/15 tests passing on the last one. 2. Phone Screen with typical string/array manipulation leetcode medium question 3. Onsite. The onsite was hard. I can't stress that enough. Consisted of three interviews: First was another codesignal (leetcode medium). Second was a 45 minute TECHNICAL discussion with android engineering manager. Definitely not behavioral and he definitely pried hard into my resume and past experiences. Also gaged how well I acted under pressure. Third interview asked me to implement an android app. I recommend knowing RecyclerView, LiveData/MutableLiveData, and typical Java threading/asyncTasks. If you don't know Kotlin dont waste your precious prep time trying to learn it. I did my interview in Java. General Thoughts: My recruiter for this process was very nice and understanding working with my deadlines and accommodating my travel. The recruiting team was a joy to work with and the engineers that I interviewed with were extremely invested and knowledgeable (not distracted/annoyed and very collaborative in the interview). Great interview experience. Overall the onsite was extremely difficult for an internship and it makes sense (the Android team is ~15ish people). Felt more like a full-time interview than what I was used to from other companies. Overall I'd say I prepped hard for ~1.5 weeks for this interview and I still felt it was extremely difficult.
