I applied online. I interviewed at Robinhood in Oct 2020
Interview
1) CodeSignal. I scored around 845 / 850 I think. The questions are very easy, but I lost 5 points due to time. I don't know whether the score matters too much, but I guess you probably have to be level 9 or level 10? You can look up the tiers
2) Phone interview via third party company. I actually preferred this a lot more than the usual process. The third party interviewer specifically does interviews (i.e., he's not a Robinhood engineer), so he was very professional and explained the problem clearly.
3) Three onsite rounds. People were polite. Like the other review here, I also had one very aloof interviewer who said nothing the entire time (even when I asked for a problem clarification) and seemed very disinterested when she asked about my background. She wasn't mean or rude though. The other interviewers were very friendly. Questions were not bad. One Leetcode, one coding (not algorithms; just testing your ability to write a function that does something tedious like parse a string and put it in another format), and one system design. I've never taken classes on OS / distributed systems and definitely haven't worked with that kind of thing before, but I thought the system design was very reasonable and easy. I just watched some YouTube videos and read blog posts to prep. The Leetcode question was also okay, probably LC Medium, although the question is not available verbatim online. Broadly speaking, it tested recursion and data structures.

Interview
Codesignal OA -> Recruiter Phone Call -> Super day
The codesginal is a GCA and the phone call has the usual behavioral questions and they ask you about familiar programming languages.

Interview
Standard tech company process. Recruiters are very friendly and communicative. 1. Recruiter call 2. Technical phone screen 3. Onsite (1. DSA, 2. System Design, 3. Project deep dive, 4. Hiring manager call)
I wouldn't underestimate the coding challenge! The first couple questions were straightforward, but the second two felt like Leetcode hard. Be sure to complete the first questions quickly so you can spend a majority of your time on the harder questions.
