The interview process was long and took 6 weeks. I went through 5 interviews with 2 more on the horizon if I had made it through. I did the virtual onsite and honestly thought the conversations went really well so it came as a shock getting the standard rejection email a week later. They couldn’t provide feedback as to why and the recruiter never responded to my email asking for additional information or anything they could disclose. This practice irks me and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If someone invests 6 weeks while also working full-time to interview there should something more than “we’re not seeing a perfect fit for our current team’s needs”. I had this happen to me at Facebook after getting far in their process too and it’s honestly just so frustrating not knowing the reason why.
