Submitted an application online. Was sent a survey to fill out with questions about my school and why I want to work at Roblox. A few days later, they sent a link to a Hackerrank challenge, which had 3 questions to complete in 90 minutes. They gave you three days to start it.
The questions were incredibly difficult. I had the same experience as mentioned before, where I couldn't even finish. If you are able to regularly complete hard level problems on Leetcode or Hackerrank, this internship may be for you. I'd say do some practice with those.
Not a great idea if you've never had a Software Engineer internship under your belt, or if you don't regularly practice hard level questions. Quite the experience. Just wasn't for me. :)
Applied online, got the online assessment. Superday was 2 technical interviews and 1 behavioral. Technical rounds focused on LeetCode medium-to-hard algorithmic and data structure problems, along with discussion of solution design, optimization, and tradeoffs.
Got to play games and all the interviewers were very laid back and nice. Leetcode style questions were hard, and there were a lot of them. Asked tough questions for behavioral
Online Assessment followed by a fifteen minute recruiter call and then technical and a behavioral back to back. All processes are online and everyone was pretty responsive. The technical and behavorial was about 3 hours total
