Interview
I was contacted a few days after submitting an application. Was called by a recruiter who asked me some basic questions in a short phone conversation. The basic questions were to tell them a little about why you want to work for Quicken Loans and to also tell them about the last few postions you had. This is a very basic phone screen. They are up front about the hours they work and at the end of the call I was told that my information would be forwarded to the hiring managers to decide if they wanted to move forward. Based on the nature of the position and my background my take on the call is that they screen a high number of applicants weather you are qualified or not. I actually was surprised when I got the call as I figured I was a long shot for the position. Two day's later the recruiter called me back to inform me they would not be moving forward. Not really surprised by that.
