I applied for multiple positions at Quicken Loans. About a month later, a female recruiter from the Detroit office emailed me and set me up with a prelim interview. When I spoke to her on the phone, I knew I wasn't going to get an in-person interview. She was very disinterested and was reading through my resume for the first time while she was on the phone with me. At the end of the phone interview, I told her that I was very interested in all 3 of the positions that I applied to. She said that I didn't meet the criteria for any of the positions based on my work history. I asked her, "Why not?" She gave vague, BS answers. I grilled her and kept asking her questions about the positions and the skills needed to perform those positions. Eventually she admitted that she didn't know very much of anything about the positions, but she was certain that I wouldn't be a good fit for any of them. I asked her why she called me then. She literally said that her boss requires her to call a certain number of candidates per week, even though they may not have any intention of hiring new employees or even bringing anyone in for interviews. Stay away from Quicken Loans. It's like pulling teeth trying to get a recruiter to talk to you about the supposedly "open" positions.
