I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI) in Nov 2016
Interview
First interview is a screening getting to know you. Asks about your interests, what you are looking for in internship, what you want to do with career, future goals. Toughest obstacle you have faced in the workplace.
Second is recruiter interview- similar to first but goes more in depth on your interests, skills, and resume.
Last interview is an interview with the leader.
Interview moved pretty quickly, but I did not get the first interview I went through originally. After I did not get first job I applied for and reached back out to see if anything else was open. Went through interview process again and was hired. Whole process took about 4 months. So apply EARLY

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI) in Dec 2024
Interview
A 30 minute phone interview asking about why I want to work there, my work experience, my legal interests. Answered about a time I had to work with a team. Was not a hard first interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI)
Interview
The internship process went very smoothly, the recruiter helped me find a role even after I didn't get one role. Overall, I'd say it was one of the better interview experiences I have had because I didn't have to jump through the hoops of multiple rounds of virtual interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied online, received a phone call to interview via phone, then it was scheduled for the next day. Interview took place via phone and it was a very brief conversation. The person never asked if I had any questions and got straight to the point.
