I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2018
Interview
This was one of the worst experiences that I ever had before. I got rejected by many companies during interview processes. But I have never been rejected after the initial phone screening. So it is quite a surprise to me. I was asked some technical oriented questions which required me to use technical language. But I felt I was not listened carefully. I felt this way, because HR or personality type questions were asked immediately (instead of elaborating my responses). The communication after the phone interview was awkward, too. Just after the phone screening, I received an email indicating “next steps in the process”, which has never happened. I am still not sure why I was not selected for a technical interview session. I have a solid background in this area. My high salary expectations could be a good reason.
