(Please forgive my gammer) The interview process was intense. I have never left a negitive review of a company before. Until now. I used to love Quicken. I tried to handle this internally before I left the review. However, when one of the community team member responds to the email saying we will research your situation before they even know the situation or talk to me I find out what the situation is, then I have made the choice to go with my last resort, SOCIAL MEDIA. In short they told me that they would review circumstances. They lied. I should have known something was off when the orginal recruiter never responded to my emails. I got this email or phone call (can't remember which) stating that someone else was now the recuriter. This was days after my email to the old recuiter. I had set out with the intention of becoming a recuiter for Quicken. Instead the old recuiter thought I should go with the banker role instead of respecting what I had orginally wanted to apply for. I went with it becuase I felt they were pushing the banker role hard and I started to get the impression I would have not had a chance any other way to get my foot in the door. (I should have known because when I even spoke of the idea of moving into a different role 5 years down the line to a different role in the company, I got an uncomfortable answer). In this process I talked with a person who gave my inaccruate information. I took 6 months out of my life and turned down other job offers becuase I was told something that just was not true. There were times in the interview process I had to point out to the person I was transfered to also did not give me correct information. This indiviual gave me information they had obtained that was not correct. So I took it upon myself to do the phone calls. I even got a call from an employeer/partner saying that they were asking questions that were outside the scope of healthy company boundries. They mentioned that they had to draw a hard line with them. When I brought this up with the team lead the response I got is as follows, "We can ask them anything we want, its up to the companies to not answer." The indiviual that talked the employeers/partners decided to make assumptions (because they felt rushing through the process was more important than doing the right thing for the right reasons.) and put words in the mouth of the people that I had a strong business relationship with, I had to (imagine how fun it is to have to smooth over what was done because a prospect employeer almost ruined the relationship because words were put in there mouth though my association.) On top of that I found out they had more inaccurate information on me. A decision to resind my offer was made on more inaccruate information and holding situations over my head. They simply did not keep their word either. I emailed all the team members and no one answered. Instead I got a call from a team leader. And she did nothing but push why they were right and ignored that I couldn't talk. Several times that team changed its stance when I brought forth correct information and still decided to put it in a negitive light. I explained to the team leader that I did not want to talk. It was the 1st things I told her. Instead of asking me if there was a better time to talk at 6:15 pm when my wife got home from work, she decided that she was going to tell me, "i'm going to help you out"and carry on a conversation. She did not care that I did not want to talk. She must have thought proving that they were right was more important. I explained to everyone that I did not care about the decision as much as I cared that they did not have the right infomration. They kept also telling me that the decision was not going to change after I told them I was not trying to get them to change their decision. She even said you can reapply but I don't see why you would want to (great hint at letting me know they did not want me). So on top of not keeping their words and lying, they decided to be disrespectful to me, my family time, and my wife (what a way to come home and have to start taking care of childern right away instead of being able to change and take 5 mins to breath). Great job on contridicting your culture and your words. The team lead that interviewed me even asked me questions about my age in a round about way. He said, "Do you have problem if someone younger than you is your leader" I'm sure that the owner of Quicken would have not appreaited how that team acted nor to the fact that emails and phone calls were not answered within 24 hours (this is company policy). That is not the culture at Quicken. Your ISM's say it's the inches that matter. You obvisoully forgot that ISM along with the rest.
