I strongly recommend to Quicken that it rethinks its recruiting practices. I would consider them very unprofessional. For starters, this company only focuses on your job history not about what you are capable of doing or your skillset. They frown strongly on jobs on your resume that aren't super long duration. While I understand they are looking for long-term employees due to the amount of training and licensing requirements, they also need to weigh what the potential new hire can do and if the company and new hire think its a good fit. Stop pre judging people based upon their resume because something didn't work out at another job. People learn from mistakes and things happen. Furthermore, the initial phone interview recruiter will ask you for friends or "referrals" that may be interested in a career move. I think the question is more appropriate once you are hired, as in my case they hired my referral, but not me. That made me feel horrible! In my case, I really tried to show that I really was interested by applying multiple times over a period of a year or two and both times I had referrals from a current employee, one of them in their circle high performer club. After have being denied both times after doing face to face interview because some jobs I didnt stay long on, another recruiter reached out to me only to tell me after he contacted me I saw you interviewed before and decided not to move forward, what a waste of my time and sending an updated resume. Never mind that two of my jobs about 7 years and 6 years long. You might want to think twice about your resume and also about giving referrals if you really want to work for Quicken.
