I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rocket (Detroit, MI) in Dec 2012
Interview
I had two phone interviews: a screening interview with a recruiter and then a 30-min interview with the hiring managers. The screening was fairly straightforward, although I felt that the HR rep misrepresented the job a little. The interview with the hiring managers was pretty straightforward. Mostly behavioral questions, which was odd given that I was interviewing for a technical role.
Also, I was very impressed with how quickly they followed up with me. I submitted the required background documents and literally 2 minutes later, I got a phone call from HR confirming that they got them and letting me know what the next steps were.
