Initially applied for the position based on a friend's referral. The process took about 5 to 6 weeks from application to formal written job offer. After the application, there was a quick 15 minute phone interview, followed by an internet "test" that consisted of a scenario where you are required to multi task a customer phone call as well as answer to your supervisor and answer/re-direct incoming phone calls. Once that is passed, there is a subsequent 30 minutes phone interview. Basic questions. Why do you want the job , what will you bring to the company etc. Tje next step is an in person visit to Quicken, where they have you shadow a relatively new Banker while they make outbound phone calls to existing Quicken loans customers about the benefits of refinancing their current mortgage. This is followed by an in person. interview with a team leader and regional VP. Upon completion I was told I would hear from them within 2 business days. 2 days later, I was called with a verbal job offer. At this point, the company does an extremely thorough background check. Mine took 10 days. They verify employment history, check criminal records nationally, and do a thorough credit check. I was able to stay in contact with my recruiter the entire time, and he was a available to me to answer any questions I may have had. Upon completion of the background investigation, I was offered the job in a written offer. I was then directed to a web portal to complete pre hiring documents like I9 and direct deposit. I am very excited to start my new career with this company!
