I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2020
Interview
I had a friend who works there refer me to a recruiter. That day they sent me an online application to fill out. I didn't get a call til a week later from the recruiter, which was to set up a brief, 15 minute phone screening for the following day. After that I was sent a "Virtual Job Tryout" that included a personality test, a multi-tasking test, a data entry test, as well as a few other portions. Got a call the next day saying I passed that and next step was to arrange a 45 minute phone interview. Scheduled that for a few days later and was invited at the end to come in for an in-person interview / employee shadow for the following week.
I came in 15 minutes early, but they did not get to me til 30 minutes after my appointment time. Think they were just super busy. Once the recruiter/manager came back I was instructed to shadow one of the bankers for 30 or so minutes. Just watched and listened to them work through the loan process with a customer over the phone and on their computer. Lots of multi-tasking involved for sure. The interview portion itself wasn't too difficult. They look for personality and people that will fit in well with their culture. Just make sure to convey that you're hardworking, competitive, and determined. Being enthusiastic also goes a long ways as well. I was pretty much offered the job at the end of the interview, which I accepted. I got a phone call the next day confirming the job offer verbally, and that the next step is a comprehensive background check. Now waiting on that to clear so I can get into the next training class! Be wary they only do these once a month so you'll want to be sure to apply at the right time. Super excited to start a career with this company! Seems like you'll go as far as your work ethic will take you.

Question 1
What is a situation you found yourself in where you had to think independently.
3 rounds. First HR eventually a VP. All over the phone or video. Looking for outgoing sales people. They won’t say anything negative about the company. It seems very fake.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you convinced someone to do what they didn’t want to do?
Super easy! They will hire anyone with a pulse. You will talk to the recruiter first, and then a series of 2-3 more people. When I interviewed they didn’t even send me to the regional, they just hired me.
