Difficult interview
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket
Interview
Recruiter asks you basic questions, then you have 1:1 with a peer, with some technical questions, and the last part requires interviewing against a panel of their best.
Extremely difficult technical questions, really tests your knowledge on best practices and the know how to get the best performance out of the language. I am sure it is pretty important that you are a positive thinker too, and seem like someone who doesn't get frustrated by challenges.

Question 1
Basically asked you how to setup a specific database based on specific parameters.
Pretty average and straightforward process. HR screen, a meeting with managers then a meeting with a team. It was kind of a waste of time as there was no structure the interview questions and felt like the managers were unorganized. Some questions felt like it came from a textbook. Kind of a waste of time considering they made me come on-site. They also make you do an online coding assessment test where you have to download a browser plug-in to track what you're doing. This seemed sketchy and the results were never discussed afterwards

Question 1
Questions about personal experiences. Questions out of a textbook about programming and databases
Had a phone call with a recruiter, then took an online coding assessment, with a spyware browser extension that I was pretty uncomfortable installing. There was a mix up and the assessment was in a technology I was unfamiliar with. I emailed the recuiter and never heard back.

Interview
The first round was a meet and greet with a recruiter. The second round was a standard technical loop with a system design question and some whiteboard coding questions. Overall it was a good experience
