I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Rocket (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Two phone interviews and one assessment which lasted about 40 minutes. Ultimately, I decided against this position. I read many reviews from people who either currently worked there or had in the past and the interview process reinforced the stated cons. I would love to have been able to take the position but I was asked to "push back" a planned weekend trip. Why do I need to push back a Saturday/Sunday trip if I'm working 9-6 Monday-Friday? There were other instances of what I would call overreach and testing boundaries. Arranging an interview time and then pushing to move it forward with a text message saying "I'll be calling" 30 minutes earlier... Not ever once asking if it's a good time for me. This is where it begins. They start attacking the boundaries during the interview process and it won't stop until you either leave. My interviewer mentioned that the best people get moved into senior positions and get to leave at 2-3 but that's after a few years of "hitting their numbers".. Just be ready for some crazy hours. Pay attention to the interview process. They are telling you who they are during the interview.. Believe them. If it's a sacrifice you can make them go for it!
Didn't make it that far because it didn't align with work life balance. they require you a minimum of 50-55 hours a week, and it was non-negotiable. makes sense for some, but not myself
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket in Aug 2025
Interview
Very thorough but aligned with their vision. I am excited to join a team with experience and passion for helping families succeed with their mortgage needs. I had a total of 4 interviews which were all over the phone and one through Zoom. My position is remote with ability to go into the office but required to do most of my work out in the field.

Question 1
About my experience and how I managed my pipeline.
The Interview was straight forward. They reviewed my resume, asked me questions about it. Then they asked me situational questions about dealing with success and failure in my previous roles.
