I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket Lawyer (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Applied online, then phone screen with recruiter, and next was a phone interview with hiring manager. Asked to provide creative and writing samples. Then moved onto in-person with 4 team members - including hiring manager, product manager, designer, and other marketing person. Some questions about own experience and some about how would improve Rocket Lawyer, e.g., site structure, marketing collateral, tagline. Interviews were nice and conversational.
I am giving a negative review because of the lack of follow through after the interview. I heard back once from one of the recruiters that they were deliberating and would make a decision that week. I followed up after a week with the recruiter and never heard back. Not even an automated form rejection email. I realize people are busy, but it's bad form after the preparation and time candidates spend to never get back to them with the decision.
