I began by applying for this position on the Rocket Lawyer website. I had seen the position advertised on Craigslist. It was about 2-3 weeks before I received a phone call from a internal recruiter. I then completed a screening over the phone with the recruiter. I then was moved onto a phone interview with the VP of Operations. The recruiter contacted me back a few days later to set up a in person interview with the HR Administrator and the VP of Operations. The interview went great, everyone was very personable and friendly. It lasted about an hour and a half. We went over my experience and situational questions and I learned the personality of the staff. I was then called in for a second in person interview, so I came in another week later and met with the Corporate Controller and the Accounting Manager (because my role would also be crossing over into the Accounting dept). I was asked more situational questions to maintain an understanding of my knowledge. This is when I got a better understanding of the inside role work ethic of both the HR and Accounting teams. A few days later I was contacted again to set up a final interview with the CFO. I came back in and we discussed the organization of the department and more of my employment history and experience. Another week later I was contacted to be offered the position.
