After an initial brief telephone interview with the recruiting team, I was invited to a longer interview with the department supervisors. The initial interview seemed designed to confirm an alignment of expectations. The final interview was very comfortable, and seemed intended to explore compatibility with the role and culture.
From submission to offer, the entire experience was transparent, reasonable, and timely - further adding to my positive impression of this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to discuss an experience in which I worked with an unhappy or difficult customer, including how I responded and the outcome of the contact.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rocket Lawyer (Ogden, UT) in Nov 2025
Interview
I did the first initial with Emily. She was amazing and walked me through everything, stayed in communication, and made sure I knew what to expect. The 2nd step is getting a panel interview. She kept me apprised of everything that was going on. I really appreciate the fact that she kept timelines and expectations real with me, not a lot of companies do that, you get no responses and get a blanket response. But she was always quick to reply and keep me informed.

Question 1
How would I handle a customer who was asking me legal questions?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rocket Lawyer in Feb 2024
Interview
My first interview was a phone interview with their hiring director. It was more of an interview where they get to know you, your availability and just see if you’re a good fit. If they want to proceed then you do a second one. Next, my second interview was with the manager and supervisor via google meet. It consisted of the STAR method and the questions were very easy. I recommend to input the principles of the company into your answers. Overall, the interviewers are very nice and great people! Smooth and fun interview overall.
