I had a really great time interviewing with Rocket Lawyer, definitely my best experience so far. The team is very kind and passionate about the company’s mission. You should definitely apply if you in product (UI/UX) Design. The interview process at Rocket Lawyer is very Straightforward and formatted in a way that helps the hiring team get to know us better. It goes as follow 1. Phone interview with Hiring manager: Interested in learning about your Skills and background. 2. Virtual meeting with team: You need to prepare a prevention for this step of the Interview. Things they will be looking at: Collaboration skills, experience, process and asset handoff, if you are data/business driven, how you balance user needs and business goals, How well do you receive feedback, do you take initiatives, Are you creative, positive, and curious? 3. If you pass this step you will expected to participate in a Collaborative exercise which lasts about 30 minutes (5 minutes to read prompt and ask question + 25 minutes to work on exercise). Once you are done the panel will convene and will question you for another 30 minutes (this is an opportunity to showcase your collaboration skills and ask questions too. Once completed you’ll have 1-1 with the head designer which last about 5 minutes. You’ll be ask how you felt about the process, and how you like the team, felt about the exercise, etc… 4. If this goes well, you should hear from your hiring manager and receive an offer! YAY you have made it! 🎉 🥂
