I had an initial interview with a recruiter discussing my background, experience, and interest in Rockstar. The second stage was a more in-depth interview with members of the Community team, focusing on community management, creator relations, and how I would approach different scenarios.
The third stage was a timed written assessment completed through CoderPad. This involved responding to community management scenarios and writing creator/community-focused content based on Rockstar's FiveM and RedM communities.
The final stage was an interview with senior members of the Community Operations team. This was a conversational interview that explored my previous experience, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and passion for gaming communities. Throughout the process, everyone I spoke with was friendly, professional, and made the interviews feel welcoming.
The only negatives was this was over the course of 11 weeks, which is a pretty long interview process and I was told I'd hear back the following week about an update and had to reach out since it had actually been 2 weeks with no update, which ended up being a rejection.
