Applied online. Took 3 long weeks to respond. Interviewed by your future teammates. They (1) asked about your resume, (2) asked you to solve programming questions on the white board and (3) gave you 100 minutes to do a written test. There are FOUR sections in the written test: C (string manipulation, strlen(), pointer, sorting), C++ (stack/heap memory allocation, inheritance, polymorphism, virtual keyword, private vs protected access specifier), Multithreading (yes, they never told you that you need to know this in the advertisement; mutex, pthread operations - create, locking, unlocking, process switching vs thread switching), engineering (log base conversion, truth table, calculate dBm, Karnaugh map). The caveat is the multithreading part as it carries the most marks. Make sure you know the topic well (do plenty of exercises) before you come. But anyway I believe the interviewers prioritize EXPERIENCE. If you got plenty of relevant EXPERIENCE in the embedded system PLUS if you passed the test with flying colors, you can be sure to be extended the offer soon. And remember to bring your own pen, scientific calculator and stopwatch (100 minutes) as they will not provide for you. Good luck!
