Happens with Rohde & Schwarz Singapore. The recruiter confirmed my interview shortlisting but informed me that it takes less than 12 hours to travel for a face-to-face interview, but I can't make it due to too last minute. I requested to accommodate a virtual call but was turned down. Later, for an interview to happen, due to my business trip, i wasn't able to make it in the first 2 weeks, hence I requested an interview 2 weeks later. The recruiter, in the later weeks, then shared with me they had already shortlisted a candidate for the final round, hence turning away the opportunity for me to interview. Indeed a pity and unpromising hiring experience and process.
