Assessment centre, consisting of a general interview, a technical interview, group work and a lunchtime networking session. The general interview included a presentation which showed you had good communication skills, and the technical interview could be on anything related to the company. In my technical interview they asked about design and materials selection for engine components, as well as explaining in laymans terms how aircraft fly. The group work was an assessed challenge in teams, where they looked for your teamworking skills.
