Behavioral competency based interview, single interview with two person panel, Hiring manager and Customer/exec - I was an internal applicant from another function and had been recommended but the process mirrored the interview process when I was hired as an external candidate in my original function.
Lots of power for interview panel to decide based on liking a candidate (doesn't appear to be peer reviewed or data driven to prevent bias) Important to make a good impression/connection smile/shake hands be friendly
