Completed the online assessment before being invited to an Assessment day which took place at Derby in February. The day consisted of an informal meet and greet with the assessors which was good as it relaxed you. Then we went on to do our Motivation and Innovation Exercise which was a small presentation, which they then proceeded to ask you questions about after. For this, a basic knowledge of Rolls Royce and what they do is required but here I found they were more interested in what I had said about myself. After that, we went to Application of Knowledge and Understanding interview which lasted an hour. This was a lot harder, we were given a case study then asked project management specific questions regarding this. The assessors are very nice though and guide you through it as you are not expected to have any prior knowledge or experience in the field. After that we did a group exercise, which was good being at the end of the day as you felt you knew everyone a bit better. Again, this was a very relaxed atmostphere and you just have to try and get involved. They then said they would get back to us the next day, but it was actually 3 working days later- provided brief feedback too.
