2 Interviews including technical and competency interview.
Phone screen and online test. Relatively straightforward. Good people HR is outsourced. This job was for defence. And now I'm typing to get to the minimum word requirement. Its miserable weather today.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They basically showed a gas turbine and asked me to explain in varying detail each section.
Series of questions about behaviour and logical aptitude. Really tests your efficiency, The goal is to be as accurate as possible over as many questions as possible.
In the end they give you a test summary describing your "personality" and your "working style", while there is no specific desired style and that makes it difficult to figure out whats the "correct" answer.

It was about a logical puzzle that arranges shapes in an order using a numbered code, I had to find the inverse of a given shape to find the numbered code.
After having submitted the CV, this is reviewed. When I applied for my position they then asked me to answer some very general knowledge questions online recording a video. I did well and they called me for an interview on site. This was done in 3 parts: behavioural, technical and then there was a team challenge where I needed to work with the other people interviewed to solve a challenge.
Verbal interview, generic technical questions relating to gas turbine design focused on aerothermal aspects, followed by a few competency related questions. Explanation of the anatomy of a gas turbine from fluids perspective given a large detailed diagram of one.

How do you work out the angular vel. components for turbine blades
