I applied online. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Derby, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was nice and interesting consisting of three sections.: the presentation (which was for 5 mins followed by questions), technical knowledge ( about 1 hour) and group tasks (30 mins) .The assessors were nice, friendly and supportive.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce in Dec 2016
Interview
Inconsistent across departments, more likely to gain an interview if the hiring manager knows you. Less upward mobility internally and fewer internal positions posting. Instead of moving people internally, there has become a tendency to reach out to the external market, again limiting career growth.
