Two things stood out to me about the process. Everyone I talked to was personable and professional, and the recruiting staff are really excellent. Every other company I was interviewing with at the time went silent on me for weeks at a time. Roofstock actually expedited the process, even when the recruiter who was my point of contact was out of the office for a couple of days, because they knew I was interviewing with other companies. The structure of the process was fairly typical, and had some depth to it. There were conversations with various members of the team I was interviewing to join, a pair programming exercise (as opposed to jumping through hoops on an obscure algorithm exercise), and a systems design (virtual) whiteboard-type exercise. This was an interview that I felt was reasonable at all points.
