Fine, just 30 minute interview and then selected for panel interview. I enjoyed the phone screening, my interviewer was very nice and it was quick. He had reviewed my resume beforeehand which was helpful

Interview
After sending in my application, HR sent me an email to schedule a phone interview with a paralegal coordinator. I followed up right away, and spoke with this person the next morning. He ended up calling me 20 minutes after the scheduled time and just jumped right into questions. He didn't sound the least bit eager to hear my responses. After I answered the first question, there was a long pause to which I had to check if the line had disconnected on his end. He did not apologize for his apparent lack of attention and just went on to the next question. I did not feel like we were engaged in a conversation until he asked me if I had any questions for him at the end, and I asked him about his experience as a paralegal with the firm. When asking also about the decision timeline, he reassured me that his company was not one to leave its applicants hanging like so many others are known to do. He told me to give it about a week but to expect a little bit of a delay by a couple of days due to the upcoming holiday. 2 weeks passed, and nothing. I reached out to HR and got my answer. Needles to say, I was very disappointed in how the beginning stages of this application process went. Very unprofessional.
