I applied online. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Gilroy, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
It wasn't bad. The manager was nice and helpful when I had additional questions about the job. They asked for work experience, future plans, things we considered flaws, leadership skills, etc. I was offered the job right after the interview.
Basic interview, they aren't super competitive when selecting employees. Just seem eager to work in a team setting and try not to toot your own horn too much and they'll hire you.
They did a group interview where you had to answer questions on customer service and experiences. The interview was simple and wasn’t long, they would call you after a few days to let you know if you got the job.
