Interview
I submitted my resume to an FIU campus recruiter and was called for a phone interview a couple of weeks later. The interview questions were meant to determine your existing knowledge base in order to find the best fit for your particular skill set. Two more weeks or so passed and I received a call to congratulate me for being selected. Following the call, I received an internship contract in my email inbox with all the specifics. It is a great company to work for. I really enjoyed the experience.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Royal Caribbean Group
Interview
Very lax interview no data structure and algorithms. The senior engineer wasn't present for both interviews so that may be why the interview was so simple. Also asked a few questions about agile environments and which software was used for project management at my previous employer.
