I had a nice conversation with the recruiter, who represented the company and its recruiting process well. I was hopeful to move on to the next interview based on this first interview, how well it went, and my qualifications. I never heard back from the interviewer despite sending three emails. I was surprised to be ghosted based on how my interview went. Treating candidates this way when you can easily send a standardized rejection email, especially from a mental health company, is appalling.

The screen was pretty easygoing and fine. The meeting with the hiring manager knocked the wind out of me. It was rapid fire and there was just this feeling of them being almost annoyed at having to be there? Their responses to me were curt and honestly rude. Idk if passive aggressiveness is pervasive in this company -- but i left the call feeling like absolute garbage. I do better in active problem solving and relaxed back and forth. One of the worst interviews of my life AND its a mental health company. The irony.
