I got played by this company's recruitment scam. Their interview process is nothing more than an attempt to squeeze free labor out of job candidates. They drag you through multiple interviews that eat up hours of your life, without any disregard or appreciation for people's time. Then the bulk of that time is spent creating an insanely detailed 18-month strategic plan, they specifically ask for it to be very detailed, that is expected to take you a week to create. Basically asking for free work, which always ends in the excuse that they are not giving out an offer to anyone as they are being "very picky." See other reviews here, its happened to multiple people.
Red flags everywhere. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Question 1
Provide a very detailed 18-month strategy of x and y
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rula in May 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out via email. Had a screening call then meeting with hiring manager. Followed with a peer interview then an interview with the CFO. After those 3 was sent a case study where they expected 5+ hours of work to be put in which was very sketchy and I now see that this is common at this company. I did the presentation and they expected all of their problems to be solved in this. CFO specifically kept asking for more information even though I had spent less than 30 min with each team member previously. Typically when I interviewed people in the past you try to understand how they solve problems and how their mind operates but it seemed as though they just wanted unpaid labor to give them good ideas. They also keep your presentation and ask that you email them in advance. I made sure to focus my content on the specifics and keep the presentation high level since I read some prior reviews and felt uneasy sharing all my information.

How would you simplify X y and z. What tools make sense to use for a finance tech stack.

Interview
Unfortunately, this company is exploiting interview candidates for free work. They're asking for extremely detailed strategic plans that are expected to take a week to complete. Uncompensated.
The best part? An Amazon style panel interview where they silently read your work and add comments. How original.
Save your time. Save your dignity. And definitely save your strategic insights.
