Got in contact with Runzheimer through a recruiter. After initial phone screen, was immediately invited to an on onsite interview. Conversations with business and technical people were mostly free form and went very well. Interview process and overall approach to screening candidates is positive, thus the positive rating below.
The position was posted as "remote work" -- which is why I applied in the first place. In the end, I was turned down due to lack of experience working remotely. Nowhere on my resume is it mentioned that I ever done remote work in the past, nor was it listed in job requirements. I was up front about this during the initial phone engagement as well. This was not a standard HR brush-off because I was offered the position if I were to commute to the office 3 time per week.
No thanks.
